Do you provide mobile service my area?
We offer mobile services to almost anywhere in the DFW metroplex.

Do you offer a warranty on the installation or repairs?
Yes. Sportsman Glass guarantees all workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. A written warranty is given to you when you pick up your vehicle.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Money Orders.

Will Sportsman Glass bill my insurance for me?
Yes, our Customer Service Representatives can handle all necessary paperwork and billing directly with your insurance company. We take care of the hassle involved with windshield replacement so you don’t have to.

Will my insurance rates go up if my windshield is replaced using my insurance?
No, windshield replacement falls under the “comprehensive” portion of your insurance rather than the “collision” portion. A cracked windshield does not reflect your driving ability and has no bearing on your level of risk to the insurance company.

Do you install glass that is of the same quality as the glass I currently have in my vehicle?
Yes, we use high quality auto glass from numerous manufactures. From cost-saving aftermarket to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) such as PPG, Pilkington, Carlite, Guardian and Mopar, we can supply all of your needs. Call one of our customer reps. to discuss what options are available for your vehicle.

How long will the repair or replacement take?
In most cases, windshield repairs can be performed in 30 minutes or less and windshield replacements in 60 minutes or less, However, we recommend that you do not drive the vehicle for at least 2-3 hours (varies with humidity, temperature and type of urethane) after the installation is complete to ensure proper curing of the seal. Your technician can provide the best estimate of a safe drive-away time on the day of your installation.

Can you replace my windshield or auto glass if it’s bad weather?
Inclement weather makes installations difficult without cover. If possible, please have shelter available such as a carport, garage or a parking garage. If shelter is unavailable at your location on a rainy day, we will be happy to re-schedule your appointment for a different time.

Will my rear view mirror be reattached to the new windshield?
Yes, our technicians will remove your rear view mirror from the old windshield and attach it to your new windshield.

Can you a replace my door, back, side, or vent glass?
Yes, we service and install all auto glass parts, including door, vent, back and quarter glass.

Do you offer window tinting service?
Yes! We offer a full line of window tinting services including replacing old faded tint or a complete tint on your vehicle.

Will someone call me before they arrive?
Yes, the technician will call you prior to arriving on site to perform the installation or repair.
